As a business, there are a range of benefits to working with your local hospice, in addition to knowing that you are giving back to the local community.
This year we need to raise £2,208,823. That’s £6,052 per day to continue all the services that Cynthia Spencer Hospice currently provides in Northampton and across West Northamptonshire and continue to improve. Our corporate supporters help us raise a substantial part of that figure. Whether it is through a corporate charity day, raffle or bake sale; every financial contribution our corporate supporters provide directly influences our capacity to deliver essential services across the county.
The partnerships we form with companies across Northamptonshire underpin the sustainability of our charity. These alliances not only provide us with the resources we need to continue our operations, but they also provide us the opportunity to tap into the corporate network, facilitating further support and collaboration.
Whatever the size of your business, there are many ways which we can work together to make a difference to your business and our patients.
onefoursix have been involved in various events over the last few years including the Franklins £50 Challenge and the Charity Golf Day.
“Our team cannot wait for the days we get involved in raising money for Cynthia Spencer. It is a great way to raise money for a very worthy local cause, whilst giving the team the opportunity to develop new skills”.
Becoming a corporate supporter of Cynthia Spencer offers an enriching and transformative experience for your staff. It provides opportunities for team building and professional growth as employees engage in volunteer work, participate in events, and even take the lead in organising fundraising activities. These experiences can foster a sense of unity, purpose, and fulfilment, while also honing leadership and collaborative skills. Furthermore, involvement can enhance employees’ understanding of social issues, encouraging them to develop empathy and a broader perspective of their community. The sense of contributing to a meaningful cause can elevate employee morale, job satisfaction, and, ultimately, productivity.
“From the minute we got to Cynthia, it’s like a light was lit inside him. He actually said to my mum once, every morning I wake up I’m happy here. And that was amazing.”
