As well as raising money, colleagues from Nationwide got together to continue their support of the Hospice recently by lending a hand in the Donation Station. They partnered with RSA Insurance who have also just nominated the Hospice as their chosen charity for April!
The team helped out by sorting donated items and photographed and listed items for sale on ebay. The total fundraising from their recent activities reached £1,176.87 with £500 of match funding granted by the business. Funds were raised through various activities including raffles, selling football cards and collecting donations from the team that volunteered.
Paula McGowan, Assistant Product Manager at Nationwide said:"Nationwide supports social investment to allow us to give something back to the community and we recognise what an important part Cynthia Spencer Hospice plays in our local community, including how it has personally supported members of our own team. It was a valuable day and we recognise all the hard work that the Cynthia Spencer volunteers bring."
