Golf Day Success a Fore-Gone Conclusion

The eleventh annual Mick Chaffer Golf Day at Overstone Park Golf Club has raised £3,696.60 for the Hospice. Mick, (pictured left) presenting the Cynthia Spencer Trophy to the individual winner Mick Roy has now raised in the region of £37,000 from his golf days which begain in 2007, in memory of his late Wife, Lydia.

John Helm, Fundraising Manager at the Hospice said "We would like to thank Mick and all his family and friends who helped organise the day, as well as Overstone Park Golf Club for being such great hosts. Mick's golf day has now become such an established event in the Club's and the Hospice calendar, our appreciation also goes out to the 132 golfers who helped make the day such a fantastic success."
