Take On An Event

Many people like to remember a loved one or help support Cynthia Spencer by taking part in one of our events or taking on a personal challenge. Here are just a few examples of how people have honoured the memories of their loved ones this way:

Kelly with medal
Kelly walked 100km in the London to Brighton Challenge in memory of her Dad:

I wanted to take on a challenge that was big enough to honour his memory and this epic walk seemed big enough. We did it! It was hard but we finished 100km in 30.75 hours. An amazing experience and the donations were flooding in!

Dad - every step was for you. I love you always

Chris Dyson
Chris has challenged himself to run a half marathon per month for the whole of 2018 to raise funds to honour his friend, Andrew:

This year in memory of a friend of mine - I have decided to attempt to run a half marathon every month for the rest of the year, which means 10 half marathons before the end of 2018. The care Andrew and his family received in those last few days of his life was truly amazing and his family will always be thankful to Cynthia Spencer hospice for this.

Lisa took part in the Colour Run in memory of her husband Andy and to thank the Hospice for the care he received
