Franklins £50 Challenge 2020 - POSTPONED UNTIL AUTUMN 2020

Recently we, along with Cynthia Spencer Charity, MacIntyre and Willen Hospice, announced that the Franklins £50 Challenge 2020 would take place again, but this year we would start on 23rd April and finish on 18th June 2020. Unfortunately, due to the current coronavirus: COVID-19 pandemic we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the challenge until such time as the restrictions on group/ mass gatherings are removed.

The challenge has raised a huge amount of money for the charities over the last two years and we are sure you can understand cancelling the challenge altogether would have too large an impact on these wonderful charities and the good that they do within our communities.

How would you grow a £50 investment?

Following on from the success of the 2018 and 2019 Franklins £50 Challenge which raised a massive £85,661.95 in total, we're doing it all over again in 2020! 

We will provide you with a £50 start-up investment from our sponsors, Franklins Solicitors LLP and then it’s over to you to invest and re-invest the £50 to raise as much as you can in 8 weeks.

The team that raises the most will be honoured as the £50 Challenge champions at our awards ceremony on Thursday 16th July (other prizes for best team name, creativity, most innovative idea etc are also up for grabs)

As the challenge is being kindly sponsored by Franklins, all the money you raise will directly support those living with a life limiting illness across Northamptonshire.

So what did our teams from last year think of the challenge?

How does it work?

  1. Get your team together
  2. Email our Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, Nina on to register
  3. We will deliver your £50 investment, help you with some fundraising ideas and social media.
  4. Then on Thursday 23rd April 2020 it’s on your marks, get set and go! 8 weeks until Thursday 18th June 2020 to invest/re-invest your £50 and raise as much money as you can for Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
  5. By 5pm on Thursday 18th June 2020 deliver all of your fundraising donations to Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
  6. The prize winners will be announced at our awards ceremony on Wednesday 8th July 2020.
