Cynthia Spencer Hospice

Cyclists' Parisian Rendez Vous

Steve Scoles

2016-05-27

A team of four dedicated cyclists have successfully completed their London to Paris challenge. The gruelling four day challenge saw our riders, Steve Scoles, Matthew Hewitson, Tony Forest and Joshua Davenport covering up to 95 miles per day.

We asked the riders for their thoughts after finishing such a mammoth bike ride and Joshua said: "It was the most challenging 4 days riding I have ever under taken, but some of the most enjoyable. Riding for Cynthia Spencer pulled me through to the end".

Matthew added: "At the time you don't really think about it but now we've finished, it's incredible when you stop and think what we actually did. To have ridden our bikes from London to Paris in aid of such a great cause is a memory I will treasure forever".

Tony thanked his teammates for their support: "Plenty of good team work, my thanks go out to Matt & Josh for seeing me through what was a tough and thoroughly enjoyable challenge – it was a blast."

Steve kept a blog of his experiences so for an insight into what they all went through, click here: http://bit.ly/SteveScoles
