Jenny’s Moments was organised by Lora Fowler (Jenny’s Daughter), as a tribute to her Mum. Lora wanted to raise awareness of what a wonderful job the staff at Cynthia Spencer Hospice do in helping families and patients through their darkest time.
Sue Bownass, Community Fundraiser said: "the Hospice is very quiet without Jen about! She was always chatting to someone and singing around the ward! I think if she could, she would have got up and done a little dance too! I had the privilege of working with Jenny many years ago and it was an honour to be asked to host Jenny's Moments (my last event for the Hospice).
"The evening was a wonderful success and everyone who took part should be so proud at the amount raised – a staggering £5,557.40. My final note will be in the words of Jenny - “life is not a dress rehearsal – live for today”.
Pictured is the huge cast of performers from the show and Lora with her Dad, Ken when they visited the Hospice to see some of the nursing team and present a cheque for the funds raised.
